12 Chemical eTape Liquid Level Sensor with Teflon Jacket
The Chemical eTape Liquid Level Sensor is a solid-state resistive sensor that measures fluid level without mechanical floats. As the liquid level rises, the hydrostatic pressure compresses the sensor envelope, decreasing its resistance. The output is inversely proportional to the liquid height — lower liquid means higher resistance, higher liquid means lower resistance.
This version features a Teflon (FEP) jacket that is rated for use in chemical, petroleum, and food-safe applications. For non-chemical use, see the standard 12" eTape Liquid Level Sensor.
The sensor is resistive, so it can be read directly from a microcontroller or Arduino ADC pin with a simple voltage divider circuit. A 4-pin connector and 560Ω resistor are included so you don't need to solder directly to the delicate sensor pins.
Key Features
- Solid-State Design – No mechanical floats or moving parts
- Teflon (FEP) Jacket – Rated for chemical, petroleum, and food-safe use
- Resistive Output – Easy to read with any ADC or microcontroller
- 12" Sensing Length – Suitable for tanks and containers up to 30cm deep
- Includes Connector & Resistor – 4-pin connector and 560Ω resistor included
