A 2×20 shrouded (boxed) header designed to match the Raspberry Pi GPIO pinout. It provides a keyed, polarised connection point so you can run a ribbon cable from your Pi's GPIO to a breakout board, HAT prototype, or custom PCB without the risk of plugging in backwards.

The through-hole header has 40 pins on a standard 2.54 mm (0.1″) pitch and is compatible with all 40-pin Raspberry Pi models (Pi 2, 3, 4, 5, and Zero).
