An epoxy-coated precision NTC thermistor with a 10kΩ resistance at 25°C and ±1% accuracy. The resistance decreases as temperature rises and increases as it cools, making it straightforward to measure temperature with a simple voltage divider circuit.

The epoxy coating allows the thermistor to be used in damp environments such as air conditioners, water lines, and outdoor weather stations. The PVC-coated leads are rated up to 105°C. An additional 1% 10kΩ resistor is included for use as a voltage divider partner or calibration reference.
