The RS232 Shield V2 adds a standard DB9 RS232 serial port to your Arduino, allowing direct communication with industrial equipment, automation systems, and legacy serial peripherals. It uses a MAX232 level shifter to convert between the Arduino's TTL logic and RS232 voltage levels.

This version lets you select any two pins from D0–D7 as software serial ports for RS232 communication, giving you flexibility to avoid pin conflicts with other shields. Headers are included but require soldering.
